2024 Sponsorship Opportunities
For more than 20 years there was a fishing tournament held in Manchester, put on for the town and surrounding community by members of the Manchester Harbor Boat Club. The organizers eventually tired and no one stepped up to take over the effort, so it concluded in 2011. In 2020, the original organizers' son-in-law resurrected the tournament and it was a great success. Over 90 entrants participated in the COVID-safe event including both new and seasoned anglers across all ages.
Last year, we had 140 anglers who turned out to fish in the 4th Annual Manchester-By-The-Sea Fishing Tournament. Anglers competed in several categories including biggest catch, most species, and total inches of striped bass caught on boat and shore across three divisions: Adult (18+), Junior (12–17), and Kid (11 & under).
We are seeking sponsors to support the stability of the event year to year with a focus this year on great fishing related prizes. Please see our sponsor levels and corresponding benefits for monetary or in-kind donations for more information.
